City Palace, Jaipur

The City Palace in the capital city of Rajasthan exhibits an ideal blend of conventional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kachhwaha clan of Rajputs initially laid the foundation of the palace which saw further development in its complex by scores of his successors.
