On one hand your acquaintance with the elusive gentleman of the Jungle – the Royal Bengal Tiger would be a thrilling experience to be cherished, while on the other hand your trip to the magnificent white marble wonder – the Taj Mahal, would be an experience that will make your neighbors envy you. Start your journey at Delhi by taking a brief tour of the imperial city that has an impressive history to speak of; and then between the Taj and the Tiger take a glimpse of the imposing edifices of royal Rajasthan. The Tiger and Taj Mahal tour will definitely add a special zing to your vacation, giving a brief introduction to India as a land of architectural marvels and rich bio-diversity. Day 1 Delhi Arrive New Delhi International Airport by flight. Meeting at airport & transfer to hotel. (Note: Check-in & check-out at hotels in India is 12:00 Noon.) During the afternoon, at around 14:30 Hrs. take a half day tour of Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), the Jama Masjid (the biggest Mosque in India), Chandni Chowk (the shopping centre of Old Delhi) and drive past Red Fort. Return to your hotel for an overnight. Day 2 Delhi Partake of an impressive breakfast and proceed on a morning tour of New Delhi visiting India Gate, the Lakshminarayan Temple and Qutab Minar. Drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place. The rest of the day is at leisure. Return to your hotel for an overnight. Day 3 Delhi - Agra Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train, Arrive Agra in around 2 hours & visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. Also visit the Agra fort and take a glimpse of Diwan-I-Am and Diwan-I-Khas and also gem-studded Peacock Throne. Evening free to explore the markets. Night stay in Agra hotel. Day 4 Agra - Ranthambhore Morning drive to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri - a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town”. Arrive Ranthambhore and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Ranthambhore. Day 5 Ranthambhore Early morning 3 hrs Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open on the top) enjoy the game viewing in the national park and back to the hotel. After lunch second visit to jungle and enjoy the game viewing again. Night stay in Ranthambhore. Day 6 Ranthambhore - Jaipur On the day 6 early in the morning 3 hrs Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open on the top). Later on back to hotel. In the evening drive to Jaipur. Visit the palaces and forts of the glorious past. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur. Day 7 Jaipur - Delhi After breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort. Ride up on Elephants to visit Amber. Later visit the Palace of Winds, known as Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and City Palace. Evening transfer to railway station to board the train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi. Day 8 Departure Transfer in time to airport to board the onward flight.
