Set against the backdrop of the dramatic Dhauladhar Mountains, this small town has become synonymous to the Tibetan government in exile and the home of Tibetan leader Dalai Lama. The Kangra valley offers a magnificent surrounding that no place on earth can match. The beauty around is spellbinding and the weather most rejuvenating. Dhramasala itself has so much to offer that you might not think of taking a move from there. The monasteries in Dharamsala are worth visiting. The sheer beauty and farfetched tranquility will bring you back to this place time and again. Additionally, the Kangra Valley would leave you wanting for more. Day 1 Delhi - Pathankot Arrive at Delhi International airport to then get carried by our representatives to the train that will take you to Pathankot. Enjoy the Dinner in train itself and keep travelling for whole the night. The train journey will be overnight. Day 2 Pathankot - Kangra Valley Right after reaching Pathankot, move to Dharamshala to get in to the hotel room and freshen up. Start the sightseeing spree and visit McLeodganj to see the Tibetan library and Buddhist monastery. Both these sights will give you ample opportunity to analyze the strength of Buddhist religion. You will return to your hotel room for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3 Dharamsala Sightseeing Visit the tourist attractions at Dharamsala to see the monasteries. Dharamsala will give you a perfect blend nature and religion. Besides monasteries, the nature will charm you no end. A trekking to Triund, at the height of 9,275 feet, at the foot of the Dhauladhar, would leave you thrilled. Seeing wonderful view of the vast Kangra valley from the height of around ten thousand would be nothing less than an amazing experience. Return to your hotel room in the evening, for dinner and overnight stay. Day 4 Dharamshala Excursion Exploring Kangra Valley would be given to you. You will take around three hours to reach to Pong Lake. You can enjoy fishing here at the lake. Experience the natural beauty and green meadows around the lake. You will be taken to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Day 5 Dharamsala - Delhi You will leave Dharamsala for Pathankot and on the way, you will visit Old Kanra fort. At Pathankot, you will board the train for Delhi. You will be in the train for the night and will have your dinner in the train itself. Day 6 Delhi After arriving early in the morning in Delhi you will be taken to the hotel for check in and freshening up. Soon after, you will be taken to visit Humayum’s Tomb Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar and India Gate. You will return to your hotel room in the evening and pack your bag. Thereafter, you will leave for IGI airport, from where you will catch your flight.
