Little down as you move, you come to a complete new world of temple art by the seashore. Moreover, with the addition of Mahabalipuram, a small town by the seashore with exquisite temple art, the tour becomes more splendid than one can imagine in a distant dream. Known for its rocks carvings and monolithic sculptures it has the famous shore temple, the only one to have survived the ravages of nature. Day 1 Arrive Hyderabad
Arrive Hyderabad in the morning and reach to the hotel as our representative will receive you at the airport. Relax and then set off to morning visit of the city. See Char Minar -the city's landmark, for its four minarets built in the 16th Century. Also visit Mecca Masjid, Birla Temple, the library, the university, Salar Jung Museum like places to take a look into the past.

Day 2 Golconda Fort Excursion
Visit the prehistoric fort of Golconda, a mud structure, and now a wonderful fortress citadel. Enjoy the wonderful architectural design and more so, sound signals. Tombs of the dynasty rulers are situated nearby set in manicured gardens. Afternoon at leisure, and then overnight in Hotel

Day 3 Hyderabad - Bangalore-Mysore
Fly to Bangalore for 1 hr flight and enjoy the "Garden City. Give a visit to Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, the Mysore Arts and Crafts Center, the bull temple, and the colorful and bustling markets. After sightseeing, get driven to Mysore (140 kms / 4 hrs.) and relish verdant and hilly countryside.

Day 4 Mysore
Visit Mysore, a good-looking city of stately palaces, gardens, parks and museums. See the sights like City Palace; Brindavan Gardens, sprawling amid gorgeous cascading fountains. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 5 Mysore - Shrawanabelgoa - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore
Have a morning drive to Shravanabelgoa for 3 hrs drive to be at Jain pilgrim centre. Enjoy the 17 meter high monolith of Lord Bahubali. Later, drive 45 kms to Belur and visit the Chennakeshava Temple (one of the finest examples of oysala architecture) & Veeranarayana Temple (which has exquisite carvings of various Hindu Gods).

Later visit Halebid (16 kms form Belur), the ancient capital of Hoysalas, here visit the Hoysleswara Temple. Leave for Bangalore and check into your hotel for Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Bangalore - Cochin
Fly to Cochin (about 1 hr) in the state of Kerala to feel spices, the Portuguese, Dutch and British alongside scenic seaport.

After an afternoon of leisure, enjoy a special presentation of the colorfully costumed Kathakali dance drama. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7 The Backwaters Cruise
Visit the Portuguese church built by St. Francis in 1562, the Jewish Synagogue and the famed Mattancherry Palace. Get pleasure from a boat ride through the series of canals and lagoons snaking their way through several tiny villages and tropical vegetation. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8 Cochin - Kumarakom
Drive 2 hours for to Kumarakom and feel the well-off culture and vigorous lifestyle. Enjoy Kumarakom for a tiny settlement, nestled in the backwaters and evoking images of Kashmir. Your afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps take advantage of the rich waters with a bit of fishing, or just. Overnight in hotel.

Day 9 Kumarakom
Enjoy a boat ride on Vembanad Lake to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. See both migratory and local birds. You could also enjoy Water fowl, cormorants, egrets and teals. Enjoy an Ayurvedic therapeutic massage, indigenous to this region, which is both relaxing and healing.

Day 10 Kumarakom - Thekkady
Travel to Thekkady (145 km / 4.30 hrs) located on the Tamil Nadu / Kerala border. This exclusive wildlife sanctuary is about 300 square miles and centered on an artificial lake fed by the Periyar River. Enjoy Game viewing and sightings of elephant, bison, deer and occasionally, tiger. Have an overnight stay in hotel.

Day 11 Thekkady - Madurai
Set-off for Madurai on a 4hrs drive to experience pilgrims, bullock carts and legions of rickshaw wallahs. Feel the charm of the oldest center of pilgrimage and learning. Visit Shree Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak and the Gandhi Museum. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 12 Madurai - Tanjore
Travel to Tanjore to experience the haven of artists, musicians and craftsmen. See the golden age of Dravidian culture through Brihadeshwara Temple, built in the 10th Century. Evening transfer to Railway Station

Day 13 Tanjore - Chennai (Madras)
Arrive Chennai and have an afternoon excursion to Mahabalipuram (40 kms/ 1 hrs).Visit the ancient Pallavan port of Mamallapuram and its 7th Century rock-hewn monuments, including a massive bas-relief carved on a cliff face. Overnight in hotel

Day 14 Chennai
Take a morning tour of Chennai and visit Victoria Art Gallery, Bronze Gallery and Chennai Museum. Visit Fort St. George, the fort St. Mary's Church, and The fort museum, San Thome Cathedral etc. Enjoy the multicolored Kapaleeswarar Temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, Overnight in hotel.

Day 15 Kanchipuram / Mahabalipuram
Get driven to Mahabalipuram and enjoy your stay in the land of the world heritage site, well-known for the monolith temples dating back to centuries. Also visit Kanchipuram, the city of temples enroute. Reach Mahabalipuram to have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16 Mahabalipuram
Enjoy the entire day in seeing shore temple, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and beach. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 17 Departure
Reach the Mahabalipuram airport to board a flight to your onward destination or way back home
