Your journey starts at Hyderabad, the city that emits multi-cultural hues. Do not forget to savor the tempting Hyderabadi dishes. Bijapur and Hampi will be a welcome break on this tour. Further as you move north, you will be welcomed by the balmy beaches, swaying palms, intoxicating music and sumptuous seafood of Goa. Day 1 Hyderabad Arrive Hyderabad and transfer to hotel by our representatives. Relax for a while and then set-off for an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. See Charminar and dominating aspects of this renowned structure. Also visit the Hussain Sagar tank whose blue water provides a pleasant backdrop to the city’s landscape. Salar Jung Museum is one of the best-known museums in India where you can find private collections of the Nizams. Other important attractions in the city include Naubat Pahad (a hilltop tourist spot), State Central Library (one of the best libraries in India), and the Osmania University. Overnight in Hyderabad. Day 2 Hyderabad - Gulbarga (241 kms / 05 hrs drive) Get driven to Gulbarga from Hyderabad and en-route visit Bidar (140 kms / 03 drive from Hyderabad). You also get an opportunity to wander around the place for some time. Bidar is an old town with beaches, hill stations, Wildlife Sanctuaries and myth. Bidar was the capital of Bahmani kings. After that, you embark upon a ride of Gulbarga which has seen the act of domination from the dynasties like Chalukyas, Tughlaq, Bahamini and Mughals. Gulbarga Fort, Khwaza Bande Nawaz Dargah and Jumma Masjid are the major attractions of Gulbarga. Overnight in Gulbarga. Day 3 Gulbarga - Bijapur (170 kms / 03 hrs drive) Morning proceed to Bijapur and check in at hotel. In the afternoon, visit the major sites of Bijapur. This district is famous for monuments like Gol Gambuz, Jama Masjid and Ibrahim Rauza. Overnight in Bijapur. Day 4 Bijapur - Badami (132 kms / 03 hrs drive) Afternoon drive to Badami, on arrival, transfer to Hotel. Day free for leisure. Overnight in Badami. Day 5 Badami You would be delighted with full day excursion to Aihole with most of the 'Shikaras' in Indo-Aryan style. And then, have a look of the rock-cut temples followed by the temples of Pattadakal with large and decorative windows and pillared halls. Visit Virupakha Mallikarjuna and other prominent temples at Pattadakal. Overnight in Badami. Day 6 Badami - Hospet (310 kms / 07 hrs drive) You get to visit Badami, well-known for its four cave temples. Then you are given a chance to leave for Hopset and enroute stop at Pattadakal situated on the bank of the Malarapbha River, with 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture. Arrive Hospet and check in into hotel. Overnight in Hospet. Day 7 Hospet - Hampi - Hospet (12 kms / 30 minutes drive) Morning excursion trip to the beautiful vacation destination of Hampi, the capital of the Vijaynagar Empire. Visit the Lotus Temple famous for its incredible sculpture, stone chariot and musical pillars. The Hazar Rama Temple is also another most important tourist spot. After that, return back to Hospet for overnight stay. Day 8 Hospet - Dandeli (160 kms / 04 hrs drive) Morning drive to Dandeli via the Jain temples at Lakundi and the cotton market at Gadag. Arrive Dandeli and check in at a Wildlife reserve. Afternoon enjoy a Jeep safari in the park. Overnight in Dandeli. Day 9 Dandeli - Goa (125 kms / 03 hrs drive) Rightly after getting completely through the dense forests and the diverse wildlife in the park through Safari, drive to Goa. Arrive at Goa and check in at hotel. Day 10 Goa After reaching Goa, you would take a morning city sightseeing tour of Old Goa including Panaji, the capital of Goa and most happening city. You would also visit Mapusa Bazaar, rated the oldest weekly fair on the Konkan Coast, and Shri Mangesh Temple in Madgoa, the most sacred place for the Goanese Hindus. These besides, explore the beautiful land of Goa with the sights like Shri Shanta Durga Temple and Shri Ramanath Temple. Overnight in Goa. Day 11 Goa After touring religious places, you would be given a chance to relax on the Goa Beaches for enjoying the sun, sand and sea water at their best. Overnight in Goa. Day 12 Goa - Mumbai - Elephanta caves A flight for Mumbai, and then, one hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbour brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Have the opportunity to visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century. Overnight in Mumbai.
